terms of service

by accessing or using mcrender you agree to these terms. if you do not agree, do not use the service. these terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and subscribers.

mcrender is a web app for creating minecraft character renders, profile pictures, and thumbnails without desktop 3d software. we offer a free tier with limits and paid plans with higher limits and extra features.

we try to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. maintenance, updates, or outages may happen.

you must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. you are responsible for activity under your account. sign-in is via google or discord — we do not store your oauth password.

you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use mcrender.

paid plans are billed through polar. prices are shown at checkout. subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel in the subscription portal. refunds follow polar's policies and applicable law.

lifetime or promotional tiers may have limited availability. we may change plan features or pricing for new subscribers with notice.

you keep ownership of skins, poses, and renders you upload or create. you grant mcrender a limited license to host, process, display, and deliver that content solely to operate the service (e.g. storing your skin, showing your public profile, rendering exports).

you may use your own renders commercially — for youtube thumbnails, streams, social posts, and similar creator work — as long as you respect minecraft / mojang brand rules and third-party rights.

mcrender's software, poses, ui, and branding remain our property. you may not copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform or resell access to it.

do not use mcrender to:

• break the law or infringe someone's intellectual property
• upload malware, spam, or abusive content
• attack, probe, or overload our systems
• impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation with mojang or microsoft
• circumvent plan limits or payment requirements

your use is also governed by our privacy policy and cookie policy.

the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. we are not liable for indirect damages, lost data, or issues caused by third-party services. our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (or $50 if you use the free tier).

we may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. you may stop using mcrender at any time. upon termination, access to saved content may end — export anything important before deleting your account.

we may update these terms. we will post changes on this page and, for material updates, notify you by email or in-app notice when practical. continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
